Hydrosols
A hydrosol (also known as a hydrolat) is the water that is collected when plants are distilled to make essential oils. Hydrosols are valuable therapeutic material in their own right. They can be applied to the skin direct, used as bath and cosmetic additives, some can be taken internally as many great cooks know. Because of their gentleness hydrosols are particularly suited for children, the elderly and for those who are very debilitated by illness. Hydrosols contain small potions of essential oil along with water soluble extracts from the plant that do not occur in the oil. Their properties, are not identical to that of the corresponding essential oil. Refreshing and comforting distillates of plants and flowers. These floral hydrosols contain the water soluble parts of the plant (not found in essential oils) as well as minute amounts of the plant's essential oil. Perfect for the skin, lightly scenting rooms, clothing and linens. Each hydrosol is sent to you in a 4 oz. Cobalt blue grass spray bottle. To find out about Hydrosols in bulk sizes call 1-800-331-6457.

15% Off Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is frequently used in soap making to create a hard product with a deeply rich lather.
It is wonderful in lotions because it adds a creamy texture and is readily absorbed by the skin, making
it a good choice for massage therapists. It is semisolid at room temperature and has a long shelf life due
to its saturated nature. Sometimes coconut oil is referred to as coconut butter because of its thick texture,
which has no taste and no odor. Since it is excellent for cooking, stir frying, baking and can be substituted
for butter in most recipes. Coconut oil contains high amounts of beneficial lauric acid, which is particularly good
for the immune suppressed individual, whether used externally or internally.

10% Off These Essential Oils:
Ravesara, Nutmeg, Sweet Birch, Nutmeg and Cinnamon.
Ravesara has many uses and is often more effective in blends than when it stands alone. It is a completely safe oil and can be used on the skin neat. A strong anti-viral and immune system stimulant, it is particularly useful for fighting off flu like viral infections. For such instances use it in a massage, in the bath and diffuse near the patient. Often the flu can be stopped in one day if used early enough. Good for the entire respiratory system, for curing cold sores or, healing an herpes outbreak. Since Ravensara has an uplifting effect it is not to be forgotten when dealing with depression.
Nutmeg must be used with some caution as high doses and prolonged use may cause nervous disturbances. Nutmeg
combined with Clove and Rosemary is wonderful for relieving rheumatic pain. It is quite warming and is a welcomed addition to
winter blends. It gently stimulates the heart and generally helps tone up the entire body. Three drops is enough in the bath
to help ward off a cold. Combined with Orange or Orange and Clove, it makes a delightful scent to diffuse while disinfection
the air that you breathe.
Sweet Birch (aka Black Birch) is a great analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Therefore, it is good for all
kings of muscle pain. Due to this quality, it is a favorite of massage therapists. Try it in a blend with Lavender and
Marjoram. In addition, Birch is a diuretic and good blood cleanser. It helps drain the toxins causing the pain in rheumatism
and arthritis. Combined with Rosemary, Geranium, Black Pepper and Juniper it helps eliminate cellulite and edema. Birch also
has the ability to reduce a fever and could be combined with Lavender and a little Roman Chamomile for such.
Cinnamon is a very strong oil making the oil from the leaf much safer to use than that from the bark.
It is an antispasmodic and can help with many digestive problems such as sluggish digestion, stomach or intestinal cramps,
colitis, flatulence, nausea, diarrhea and is even helpful for menstrual cramps when used in a hot compress blended with Clary Sage.
It is used when periods are scanty and painful so it should not be used on the body during pregnancy. This oil is very warming
during convalescence after any illness as it stimulates circulation and reduces pain. To avoid the possibility of skin irritation
diffusing this oil would be a good choice. Cinnamon is very comforting and is considered to be an aphrodisiac. It blends well with
Benzoin, Cedarwood, and Cypress.
