Carrier Oils
For the safest and most effective use of essential oils we recommend that they be blended into a carrier or base oil. We offer a wide variety of the finest carrier oils cold-pressed and organic where possible.

Hydrosols
A hydrosol (also known as a hydrolat) is the water that is collected when plants are distilled to make essential oils. Hydrosols are valuable therapeutic material in their own right. They can be applied to the skin direct, used as bath and cosmetic additives, some can be taken internally as many great cooks know. Because of their gentleness hydrosols are particularly suited for children, the elderly and for those who are very debilitated by illness. Hydrosols contain small potions of essential oil along with water soluble extracts from the plant that do not occur in the oil. Their properties, are not identical to that of the corresponding essential oil. Refreshing and comforting distillates of plants and flowers. These floral hydrosols contain the water soluble parts of the plant (not found in essential oils) as well as minute amounts of the plant's essential oil. Perfect for the skin, lightly scenting rooms, clothing and linens. Each hydrosol is sent to you in a 4 oz. Cobalt blue grass spray bottle. Enjoy the recipes! Body Rub: 1 oz Olive oil or any suitable base oil 6 drops French Lavender 9 drops Red Thyme 5 drops Eucalyptus Globulus or Radiata 10 drops Ravensara The body rub can also be used in a diffuser for an added boost. Lymphatic Blend: 10 drop each Ravensara, Rosewood and Thyme in 1 oz base oil. GENTLY rub into the armpits and inner thigh at the crease where the leg meets the body. Stroke inward and down to move the fluid through the lymph ducts. Bath Soak: Blend the following: 10 drops Eucalyptus Globulus 9 drops Ravensara 8 drops Peppermint 5 drops Tea Tree 2 drops Lemon Use 8-10 drops of the blend in two tablespoons of base oil such as Jojoba then add the blend of base oil and essential oil to a warm bath.
